Goodbye, Hello

After 17 years of service as the primary care provider to our patients here at People’s Center, it is time for Deborah Olson to say goodbye to all her beloved patients as she begins her retirement.

A party was held in her honor on Friday, October 20th at our Cedar-Riverside location. Her patients, co-workers and the community were in attendance as she received an award for her many years of service and listened to her patients share stories of their time with her as their primary provider.

We will surely miss Deborah as she transitions to retirement and wish her nothing but the best in her future travels and invite her to visit us any time.

As we say goodbye to Debrah Olson, we also say hello and welcome our new pediatrician, Laura Solyntjes.

Laura Solyntjes

New Pediatrics Provider

People’s Center Clinics & Services is thrilled to welcome Laura Solyntjes to our Medical team as our new Pediatrics Provider.

Laura comes to us from a private suburban practice that she has been working at for the last 10 years where she mainly served the suburban and rural populations.  But, before that, she practiced in inner-city Kansas City.

She is a board-certified pediatrician and is looking forward to spreading her knowledge to both her patients and the community.

In her free time, Laura likes to weave and has found joy in the mathematical and creative side of this hobby.

She is most excited about the possibilities that await her at People’s Center and at its core, she will be delivering sound medicine to children who need it.  She hopes to be able to raise and expand the pediatric practice here at People's Center and wants to take this opportunity to really listen and find the needs of this community to adapt and grow. She is excited to learn the differences and similarities of the two big cities and be an open book to her patients.
