Home / About Us
People’s Center Health Services is a network of Federally Qualified Health Clinics located in South Minneapolis. We provide high-quality, affordable healthcare for patients of all racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds. We never turn anyone away if they are unable to pay.
In 1968, People’s Center was formed by a group of neighborhood activists to serve the diverse and vibrant West Bank community. Volunteers ran a drop-in clinic one night a week. People’s Center has since expanded to offer a full range of preventative care, primary care, behavioral health, and dental care services in our Cedar-Riverside clinic location. Our care providers are committed to ensuring holistic wellness for all patients, and integrate our services to produce the best health outcomes. In addition to health services, our Cedar-Riverside Clinic also offers supportive services such as Care Coordination, insurance navigation, case coordination, and legal and interpretive services. People’s Center Dental Clinic, located on Minnehaha Avenue exclusively serves patients with dental needs. At all locations, our dedicated team of bilingual staff and trained care coordinators reflect the diverse characteristics of patients served, and work to build strong communities by connecting patients with culturally competent, individualized health care and support.
