All-Around Wellness

People's Center is a nationally recognized community health center delivering high-quality, affordable, and culturally relevant care to everyone regardless of their ability to pay.

Medical Services

We believe in everyone's potential to achieve holistic wellness. When you come to get care from one of our experienced and culturally competent medical providers, they will assess your individual needs and create a plan of care to ensures that you get all the services you need without multiple trips to the clinic.

Dental Services

We provide comprehensive dental care to individuals and families at an affordable price. Our dentists, dental therapists and dental hygienists create an individualized treatment plan that is designed to make your treatment comfortable and keep your teeth healthy so you have a bright and shiny smile.

Behavioral Health Services

Our behavioral health care model is designed to prevent and treat behavioral health symptoms so each person, and their loved ones, can lead healthy, fulfilling lives. Our treatment plans are culturally appropriate and honor patient's journey toward wellness.

Extended Hours and Extended Care

Our new Walk-in clinic offers high-quality and convenient care without the need to make an appointment.

We also offer extended hours every Tuesday evening.

People’s Center is a true community clinic; it is close to my home and they know me when I come in the door. They are very welcoming – to everyone, no matter what.

Our house was destroyed in the Minneapolis tornado in 2011. People’s Center helped find us temporary housing and eventually assisted in getting us to our permanent apartment, where we have been for two years.  They’ve been in our corner the entire time.

A lot people would’ve given up on me, but they’re like our family. This clinic is absolutely is a blessing. I don’t know what we’d do without People’s Center doctors, my angels in disguise.

They called multiple different insurance companies to find out if I was eligible for coverage. They call me at home to explain my medications to me. I had a hard time with delivery and experienced some complications, so my midwife and my care coordinator got me access to in-home physical therapy. Someone even helped me shop for my children. I cannot count how many things they have helped me with.

People's Center and Diaper Bank of Minnesota Collaboration
People's Center and Diaper Bank of Minnesota Collaboration

In 2022, People’s Center established a new partnership with the Diaper Bank of Minnesota to deliver 12,000 diapers to patients and their families. So far, we have distributed ~ 8,000 diapers to ~ 100 families in 2022. Our distribution efforts would not be possible without full support from Sherry Hurt, a Medical Assistant in our Pediatric Department. Sherry manages the bulk of diaper distribution through patient appointments and ensures patient access to supplemental services offered through the People’s Pantry.

As we near completion of our renovation campaign we are so thankful to our supporters in this effort. Joseph Lally, Executive Director of Delta Dental of Minnesota Foundation will be joining us next week to share a few words for our Ribbon Cutting Ceremony. The event is on Tuesday, August 23rd at 4:30pm at our Cedar-Riverside Clinic. All are welcome so make plans to join us!
